Michael Handfield is General Manager of NEMSI's Automation Group. He is responsible for expanding NEMSI's service customer base in Connecticut, Westchester County, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts areas by offering to prospective customers and existing customers, building service products such as building automation maintenance agreements, direct digital control systems, facility management system design and installation.
HVAC & Energy Systems Services Expertise
Prior to his employment with NEMSI, Mr. Handfield managed the Automation Group at Select Energy. Mike offers seventeen years of diverse experience in the HVAC industry having held positions as an HVAC Technician, Software Engineer, Manager of Engineering, and General Manager.
Mike graduated from Springfield Technical Community College where he earned a degree in Energy Systems. He is also a graduate of Baran Institute of Technology, and holds a D-2 License and multiple HVAC certifications. Mike is a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
The Personal Side
Mike is a native of Springfield, MA, and currently resides in Enfield with his wife Erin, daughter Brooke, and son Mark.
