As Senior Vice President of NEMSI’s Mechanical and Building Automation Groups, Mike provides leadership and effectively communicates the strategic direction he sets for the team. Mike also helps to ensure the team provides the highest quality Mechanical and Automation projects, while meeting the most stringent safety requirements.
Expertise
Since he started in the HVAC industry in 1986 Mike has held several positions including HVAC Technician, Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, and General Manager. In addition to his HVAC and Building Automation experience, Mike has performed many energy audits and analysis on a wide array of facilities and applications. Mike provided energy savings calculations and obtained energy incentives on behalf of many of NEMSI’s customers.
Mike graduated from Springfield Technical Community College where he earned a degree in Energy Systems. He is also a graduate of Baran Institute of Technology and maintains a D-2 License and multiple HVAC certifications. Mike is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE). Mike has both the Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) designations.
