Tammy plans, directs, implements, and oversees all Human Resources functions including recruitment and retention, compensation, benefits, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance. She is also responsible for providing leadership to the Safety Team as well as the Administrative Training and Mobile Device Administration groups.

Tammy joined NEMSI in 2014 after working as the Director of Human Resources for Imperial Nurseries Inc./ Griffin Land & Nurseries Inc. for 18 years where she oversaw all Human Resources and payroll functions.
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Legal Studies from Brandeis University, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University. She is an accredited Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
The Personal Side
Tammy and her husband have two children. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, golfing, reading, snowshoeing and spending time with her family and friends.
